DEVELOPING: Baylor Stands In Way of Texas A&M Move

Texas A&M hopes to clear the hurdle Baylor has presented.

After being voted in unanimously by existing SEC member institutions late Tuesday night, Texas A&M must face one more hurdle before leaving the Big 12–Baylor.  The SEC was notified last week that Baylor has decided to withdraw its consent to the move and will resort to legal action in order to keep the Big 12 intact.  Despite all other members of the Big 12 giving A&M the go-ahead, Baylor seems to be very firm in its current position as the roadblock between the Aggies and the SEC.  We will continue to update this story as it develops.
